Annabelle Sethupathi release date and time: Why do ghosts still haunt a palace in 2021? Taapsee Pannu and Vijay Sethupathi will answer that question via their multilingual horror comedy Annabelle Sethupathi tomorrow. The film will be released in Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu and Hindi. The Hindi film title is Annabelle Rathore.
After almost two years, the film will mark Taapsee Pannu’s return to Tamil cinema. It stars Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Rajendra Prasad in leading roles. The film promises to take viewers on a hilarious adventure with a woman entering a mysterious royal palace.
A period film with a leap in time, Annabelle Sethupathi takes place in a haunted palace. King Rathore and his lover Annabelle are played by Sethupathi and Pannu. After a time jump, Pannu is seen entering the still haunted palace in order to steal it.
The film marks the first collaboration between the popular Southern actor Vijay Sethpathi, who won a national award for her performance in the 2019 film Super-luxury, and Taapsee Pannu. Pannu was last seen in Haseen Dillruba, a romantic thriller released on OTT. Sethupathi has movies like Master and Tughlaq Durbar under his belt. It was also featured in the Edhiri Tamil anthology segment Navarasa.
Annabelle Sethupathi Release date
Annabelle Sethupathi will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 17 worldwide. Anyone with a valid subscription to the OTT platform can broadcast it from said date. The film is directed by Deepak Sundarajan and produced by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram.
