Marriott customers can now purchase travel insurance when booking hotels

Marriott now offers customers who live in the United States the option to purchase travel insurance packages from Allianz Partners when they book their hotel and resort stays through the Marriott website or mobile app.

Allianz Global Assistance plans were developed with Marriott and can provide reimbursement on everything prepaid, rooms, airfare, medical emergencies and even trip cancellations due to illness, injury or other reason.

Other perks include multilingual experts available 24/7 for emergencies or even to provide destination information, roadside assistance and more.

The cost of the additional travel insurance policy is added to the total cost of the hotel or resort stay, billed in one transaction. Customers can cancel their policy within 15 days of purchase.
